Hired as a full-time Active Directory Engineer for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center following initial consultant role to install, configure, and administer Windows Active Directory infrastructure. Primary responsibilities included Active Directory configuration, monitor systems, process documentation, and operational support of the Windows Active Directory environment including: Domain Controllers, LDAP/directory integration, provisioning, delegation, Group Policy, DNS, ADAM, other AD related activities, and third party AD tools. In addition, configuration of interoperability with legacy and distributed environments to enable future interoperability with the Active Directory environment and various non-Microsoft directory structures. Served as a technical resource to server, desktop, and messaging administrators, programmers, engineers, analysts, and network managers.
Key Accomplishments
- Earned the Presidential Standing Ovation for Quality Service award for performance and commitment to quality care and service to the Medical Library, used by physicians and affiliates worldwide.
- Received Chief Security Officer Special Recognition; led Password NO EXPIRY project and supervised 1,500+ physician password changes to meet new password standards, with 0% impact to the business.
- Attained the Data Center Refresh Project 2017 Outstanding Recognition Award; led server refresh effort of the #1 critical system, Lawson Payroll, and provided standby support for 1,500+ server moves.
- Managed Priority 1 root cause analysis of 1,500+ account lockouts; executed remediation steps to unlock accounts and resume normal business function within 2+ hours.
